Welcome to my Mental Health Counseling Site! I am so glad that you are here! I am proud of you for taking the first step in searching for a professional to help you navigate your struggles on your journey of self-discovery and self-agency!  

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC).

 I work with children, teens, adults, families and couples. I am passionate about helping all clients process through, understand, and learn about themselves, their lives, their emotions, their experiences, and their hang-ups. I am very passionate about the individual and collective growth and success of all of my clients. My philosophy is that the therapeutic process is not "one size fits all" so I take an integrative approach to the therapy approach and tailor the therapy process to each persons uniqueness. 

 My core beliefs and therapy practice embodies congruence, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. No matter where you come from, what you have been through, what you have grown through, or continue to experience on a daily basis, I am here to help and to meet your needs right where you are in ALL moments.   

I enjoy utilizing art, music, narrative, mindfulness and other holistic integrative modalities to assist my clients through their healing process. I am a firm believer in providing a supportive, nurturing, and unbiased foundational approach to all persons. 

Collaborative and Integrative wrap around services are important to the collective person and to the dynamic of each person. It is important that we have as many resources as possible to ensure we are getting the most effective and efficient form of care. We deserve treatment that is compassionate and filled with empathy, dignity, and benevolence. 

When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, husband, and our 2 dogs. I enjoy traveling (there is so much world to see and I want to take it all in), baking and cooking (sweet treats are my specialty but I am always open to trying a new recipe for dinners or special occasions), organizing (a cluttered environment can clutter the mind), learning new things about myself (integration of my continuing education information into my own journey and continuing to foster my identity of being a forever student) and working out (brain, body, breath, nutrition balance are crucial components to well-being).


My Clinical and Educational Background

 I received my LPC license from the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and my NCC certification from the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). 

I have been working as a  Licensed Clinical Mental Health Professional Counselor since 2018. I received my Bachelor's of Arts- Psychology degree from Arizona State University in 2015 and in 2017 I obtained  my Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling Degree from Northwestern University- The Family Institute. 

I opened Anchored Within Counseling, LLC in October of 2021 and as a solo practitioner I have been and continue gathering a collaborative and integrative network of providers ever since (mind, body, breath, nutrition, physical/mobility, holistic/naturopathic/homeopathic).
